The Process

Pressing begins as soon as we receive your bouquet. Your flowers will be deconstructed and pressed by individual petals in one of our limited handmade wood presses. Deconstructing requires the flowers to be fresh and can take up to 3 hours per bouquet. The petals remain in the press for at least 6 weeks to ensure that they properly dry.

Once the bouquet is completely dry, the flowers are removed from the press and arranged in a design draft. A design draft will be emailed to the client for approval before the flowers are assembled, glued, and framed in a handcrafted cherry hardwood frame.

The final framed piece will be shipped back to you or may be picked up if local to the Raleigh-Durham area.

The entire process may take up to 4 months to complete.
